We have developed our ownership strategy from holding passive minority interests to a more active approach, in close cooperation with our partners. This is clearly reflected in our investments and disposals in recent years and will continue to be our main focus going forwards.
Although we take an activist approach to the ownership of individual assets/vessels, we have a long-term commitment to the shipping industry, which forms part of our core business.

EGD Shipholding AS’ investments have been instrumental in developing the industry-leading shipping company in terms of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) – Klaveness Combination Carriers ASA.
All of the vessels in the EGD Shipholding AS fleet currently comply with national and international ESG standards, and we are also investing in our fleet to prepare for future requirements to reduce emissions.
