The limited liability company Einar Galtung Døsvig AS, now EGD Holding AS, was founded in 1907 by Einar Galtung Døsvig.
The current Chair of the Board of Directors, Espen Galtung Døsvig (born 1972),
is the fourth fourth generation “EGD”. He started playing an active role in
1997.

We have developed our ownership strategy from holding passive minority interests to a more active approach, in close cooperation with our partners. This is clearly reflected in our investments and disposals in recent years, and will continue to be our main focus going forwards.
