At Nøstegaten 72-74, we are now set to build around 100 new homes in partnership with OBOS. The project has a wonderful seafront location in one of the main streets in Nøstet.

The project has a wonderful seafront location in one of the main streets in Nøstet. Nøstet is already a great area that is very popular with residents. We will tailor the project to its surroundings and build on the existing character of the area – as well as developing areas for people to hang out, new squares and a nursery school. On the site of the existing car park at Nøstegaten 60, Bergen City Council plans to create a pedestrianised square. The seafront will also become more accessible thanks to a public promenade.

The new homes will be close to Verftet, Nordnesparken, Nordnes seawater pool and Bergen Aquarium. The University of Bergen and the Bergen campus of BI Norwegian Business School are also not far away at Marineholmen. Nøstegaten will be a project where people can feel safe in good, modern homes, at the same time as having the benefit of the seafront promenade and sea views.

We expect the zoning plan to be approved during 2022. The planning proposal has been sent to the Bergen City Council for further consideration and will be put out to public consultation in the autumn.
