The current hotel building was constructed in 2001, but there has been a hotel here since 1889. The new hotel draws on the same traditions as the original one, occupying a majestic waterfront location in the small village of Eidfjord, surrounded by spectacular mountains and deep fjords. That means a stay with us combines rich traditions with a relaxing natural environment.   Vøringfoss Hotel is at the head of Hardangerfjorden, in beautiful Eidfjord, surrounded by the finest scenery Norway has to offer. We are located right on the fjord, with mighty peaks rising up to 1,600 metres towering over us.
